The 2025 Kia EV9 is an electric SUV like no other, with three rows of seating, remarkable performance, and plenty of range. Take a closer look at this impressive vehicle and see why so many drivers are making the efficient switch to electric with the EV9.

The EV9 stands apart from its competition with a choice of five trims, two batteries, and four permanent magnet synchronous motors. The entry-level Light RWD features a 76.1-kWh lithium-ion battery and generates 215 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. It travels up to 230 miles on a fully charged battery with an EPA-estimated 88 MPG combined efficiency.

To maximize your range, choose the Light Long Range RWD, with a larger 99.8-kWh battery that provides 304 miles of range. Its motor produces 201 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque while achieving 89 MPG efficiency. The Wind AWD, Land AWD, and GT-Line AWD trims also have a 99.8-kWh battery for up to 280 miles of range.

A Look Inside

Every EV9 is spacious and comfortable, with three rows of seating, SynTex seat trim, and a tri-zone auto climate control system with a separate system for rear passengers. Light and Wind trims seat seven with second-row bench seats, while the three remaining trims have second-row captain’s chairs and seating for six. No matter which one you choose, the second-row seats slide and fold with just one touch, making it quick and easy for third-row passengers to get in and out.

Stand behind the EV9’s Smart Power Liftgate with your key fob for three seconds, and it opens automatically, revealing 20.2 cubic feet of cargo space. A front trunk also provides up to 3.2 cubic feet of hidden storage space. When you fold the second- and third-row seats, you’ll have 81.7 cubic feet of storage space for transporting large items.

Tech Features That Impress

The EV9 keeps your devices powered up with six USB ports, a wireless phone charger, and two 110V power inverter outlets. It also keeps you informed with a 29.6-inch panoramic display, which includes a climate display, instrument display, and a touchscreen for infotainment and navigation.

The infotainment touchscreen helps you interact with your audio system with SiriusXM and can display your phone’s apps when you connect it with wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Features made for families are built into the infotainment system, too, like Passenger Talk. This feature uses the audio system to project your voice to the rear of the cabin so you can be heard clearly from the front.

For eco-friendly efficiency, fun-to-drive performance, and tech made for families, the EV9 is the clear choice. To find out more, contact our sales team at Grubbs Kia of Wichita Falls in Wichita Falls, TX.
