With two powerful engines and a comfortable, roomy, and high-tech cabin, the 2025 Kia K5 is the perfect mid-size sedan. Take a look at some of the incredible features you’ll be getting with the new K5.

1. Powerful Powertrains

Most Kia K5s are powered by a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that generates 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, the K5 accelerates smoothly for thrilling drives. Standard high-performance dampers improve ride quality when the road gets bumpy.

If you’re after more power, step up to the sportier GT model for a turbocharged version of the 2.5L engine that puts out 290 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. Power goes through a responsive 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a sport-tuned suspension gives the vehicle an engaging feel. All-wheel drive is available on the GT-Line trim to increase traction on slippery roads.

2. 12.3-Inch Infotainment Display

The K5 is fitted with a 12.3-inch infotainment unit that offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, and satellite radio. With the available built-in navigation, you can easily set destinations without linking your phone. A six-speaker stereo comes standard, while a Bose system with 12 speakers is available for a premium audio experience. The EX and GT trims offer a high-tech dash with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster in place of the standard 4.2-inch gauge.

3. Upscale Amenities

With dual-zone automatic climate control, you’ll enjoy a comfortable cabin all year round. Heated front seats and an 8-way power driver’s seat are standard on all trims except the base. You can customize the comfort with available luxuries like ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a panoramic sunroof. The GT-Line and GT models bring a sporty vibe with a flat-bottom steering wheel and leather seats branded with the trim logo.

4. Advanced Safety Features

Every K5 includes advanced safety technologies that look out for you on the road. You’ll find a forward collision-avoidance assist system that can also detect pedestrians and cyclists in your path. Other features include smart cruise control with stop-and-go, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, driver attention warning, and high beam assist. Parking sensors and a backup camera are standard, and a more advanced surround-view monitor is available.

5. Blind Spot Monitoring Tech

The K5’s standard blind spot collision-avoidance assist system alerts you when there’s a vehicle in your blind spot. If you attempt a lane change when it’s not safe, it will gently steer you back to your lane to avoid a crash. The available blind view monitor takes safety up a notch, showing a live video feed of your blind spot on the side you’re signaling.
